Congratulations you have finally killed Diablo and now you are at Nightmare mode. Now things are changing slightly. You will notice right away that enemies are more difficult to kill and not everything goes so smoothly like in Normal. Do not worry Nightmare will be nothing to be bother about if you are just playing smarter. CLICK HERE for THE BEST Diablo 3 Barbarian Guide
Our primary focus will be still huge AOE damage but we will also focus more on life regeneration, resistances and armor. Here is build especially designed for Nightmare:

“Generate 3 additional Fury per enemy hit/Enemies slain by Cleave explode, causing 85% weapon damage to all other enemies within 8 yards.”.
A sweeping strike causes all nearby enemies to Bleed for 210% weapon damage as Physical over 3 seconds.
Increase the range of Rend to hit all enemies within 17 yards.
Description: Increase the range of Rend to hit all enemies within 17 yards.
- “Ground Stomp”
Smash the ground, stunning all enemies within 12 yards for 4 seconds.
Rune: Wrenching Smash
Increase the area of effect to 24 yards. Enemies are pulled closer before the strike lands.
“Leap into the air, dealing 85% weapon damage to all enemies within 8 yards of your destination and slowing their movement speed by 60% for 3 seconds”.

More health regeneration if you feel like you need it.
Gain 3% of all damage done as Life.
Reduces all non-Physical damage by 20%. Whenever you take damage from a ranged or elemental attack, you have a chance to gain 3 Fury.
You just can’t take something else then this passive. Reducing damage by 20% I great and fury regeneration is even better.
Passives are purely for health regeneration.
How to fight with this build?
1. Run/Jump into enemies and cast Ground Stomp to pull them back to you
2. Use Battle Rage to increase to damage
3. Use Rend or Whirlwind (spend 70% of your Fury on Whirlwind)
4. Recharge your Fury with Cleave
5. Keep using Whirlwind or Rend (once every 3 seconds)
6. Remember to keep using Revenge once it is activated and Battle Rage once every 30 seconds
When you see Boss or elite mobs you may change your build to more single target oriented. Use Frenzy with Rapture Instead of Cleave. Also you have Threating Shout if you cannot stay alive.
With this build I am sure that you can pretty much kick ass easily through Nightmare. It is really not that difficult mode so storm through it. CLICK HERE for THE BEST Diablo 3 Barbarian Guide
